Prepare Your Garden Patio Furniture for Fall

Fall is such a beautiful time of the year. The leaves transform from green to gold, the unbearable summer heat cools down and allows for sweaters to be worn, and your outdoor living space gets a seasonal makeover! But while autumn has its perks, it’s also a time of prepping—like making sure your garden patio furniture is weatherproofed for the coming rain and snow.

And, since the days start to get darker much earlier in fall, implementing string lights in your outdoor space will help you see better with the added benefit of creating a dreamy setting. Another way to keep the nights lit up while staying warm is with either an electric or in-ground firepit. Adding one of these can make those cool evenings much more enjoyable. Plus, it’ll feel like you’re camping, but when you’re done, you get to go inside to your comfy bed! 

Weatherproof with a Cover 

We would be remiss to not add that at the very end of fall, you’ll want to cover your garden patio furniture up in order to keep everything safe during winter. Of course, go ahead and enjoy your outdoor furniture for as long as you can before the weather becomes too intense for spending time outside.
